The sun was shining and the wind was blowing, but I had everything wired on tight, so it was a good day.  John and I shared a big tent and you can see his paintings behind me.  I sold quite afew  mixed media pieces which was encouraging because I'm going to open an online store for smaller mixed media pieces.  Hopefully that will happen in October when my Mom is back on her feet and I actually have time to do some art!  There I am with my traveling box of paints.  It reminds me of my favorite quote from Cezanne,  " I have to get a box of paints so I can paint when I'm not painting."  I'm not one for remembering quotes but I know just what he means.  That was the last artists' alley for this year.  Thanks to Les and Joanne for arranging everything.  I hear the next one is on the May 24th weekend.
