Here's Eleanor and I at Artist Alley, sometimes known as Robinson St.  You can't tell by the picture that it's about 40 degrees with the humidity.  Luckily watercolours don't sweat.   Other than the heat it was a fun day and I plan on being back on Sept 13th.  Hopefully it will be a little cooler!  Things are very busy with back to Mount Allison  New Brunswick for Becky and my mom's hip replacement at the Holland Centre.  I hope to bring some pictures back from PEI for the next artist alley day so even if I don't have a chance to paint, at least I'll have some new pictures to show.  If I don't add too many posts in the next few weeks you'll know why!

These are my cows that I painted in Judy's class as an exercise.  John and Eleanor will not allow me to sell them on pain of death so I showed them at the bottom of my wicker screen and marked them sold.  Doesn't it figure that this is the picture that everyone wants to buy!   I may have to try and paint more cow pictures.  However, the salt effect seems to only work with Judy's salt!  Below are afew more pictures that I had at the show.  The first two are on vintage textbook paper, which I love.   The little houses are on organic biochemical formulas from an old chemistry text book and the boxes are on city locations from an old atlas.  I like to think that the things in the boxes are possibly from the locations listed.  I love how things start to relate when you put them together,  ... and no I don't talk to fairies.  I'll add them to my art page.
